Frequently asked questions

Highly recommended, especially in July-August and on weekends. You can book online 24/7 or by phone. In low season, you can try without a booking but call ahead to check availability.

The minimum age is 5-6 years depending on the route. The child must be able to swim and sit still. Short routes (7 km, ~1h30) are ideal for a first family outing. We have life jackets in all sizes.

Not at all! 90% of our customers are beginners. You'll receive a full briefing with a demonstration of basic techniques. Our routes are calm, with no dangerous rapids. Within 10 minutes, everyone is paddling properly.

Absolutely! That's the whole point of a free descent. Stop as often as you like on the beaches to swim, have a picnic or rest. Go at your own pace, you're the captain! The descent is one-way (the current carries you), so no turning back.

It's all part of the adventure! Stay calm, keep your life jacket fastened. On our routes, the water is shallow and you can usually touch the bottom. Regroup, flip the canoe back over and climb in. We explain everything during the briefing.

A light rain won't stop us — you'll be wet anyway! In the event of an orange/red weather alert, flooding or thunderstorms, we close for your safety. In that case: free rescheduling or full refund, your choice.

Yes, dogs are welcome (and it's free)! As long as they can swim and stay calm in the canoe. Bring water for them. We don't provide doggy life jackets, but you can bring your own.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before. Full refund. Less than 48 hours: rescheduling possible subject to availability. In case of weather closure: rescheduling or automatic refund.
